and now ask why I cant defrag.is it or is it not because of lack of space at this point? I have virus, malware, etc on this computer, have gone thru removing everything I dont use, programs, pics, etc.
Now, I am an oldie, am not familiar with partitions, will not attempt to do anything with them, not am I able to get into a mess of advice per those that know much more than I ever will regarding computers. This is not a ssd, and I know I can defrag/optimize.what I'm asking is WHY I cannot get the defrag to open to run the program.as I mentioned I have done everything yall mentioned to do on the prvious thread, I didnt know if I should ask this question there or here.so sorry if I boobood here.and yes I do answer yall, I thank all of you, I appreciate your VOLUNTEER time and like to read over other suggestions for folks, but yall have mentioned when you give advice for one person, it doesnt mean it applies to others.
