By in the dark I basically just mean that I don't want to know what enemies, hazards and environmental dangers I'm going to run into in an area before I get there. You and I have a different idea of what playing a game 'mostly in the dark' means.įair point, it's nowhere near as in the dark as my previous comments might have implied (and by might have I mean definitely, I realize now my words were misleading.) Like I've been looking at wiki pages for items with their upgrade path (and it's becoming tempting to lose a portion of my life farming for the Balder Side Sword once I finish Sen's Fortress and get that ring which increases item drop) and some other things, like I've heard the covenant Queelag's sister allows you to join leads to some shortcut later on that lets you save an NPC and how to open an illusionary door in Anor Lando using a ring which is found somewhere else, things I wouldn't figure out on my own.
