The mechanic Cardan, who is located on Skadovsk, has really golden hands (at least, those who have visited the ship at least once say so), but with tools even on the outskirts of the center of the Zone it’s a little tight - we’ll go after them. They will tell you where the tools are located in Stalker: Call of Pripyat, and ordinary stalkers during a conversation, but they may misinform you. Each kit exists in only two copies, so without a map, the search can cause some difficulties. You can find them during the study of the Exclusion Zone. For the remaining improvements, they lack toolkits: for calibration and for rough and fine work. At the beginning of the game, mechanics at the bases (Nitrogen and Cardan) can make only a few modifications of weapons - increasing the store and changing the caliber. In the game 'Stalker: Call of Pripyat' tools are needed in order to unlock new improvements for your weapons and armored suit.
